This was actually not too bad. Nice flavor on the meatloaf and the bread was nice and fresh-baked. However, at $11.50 and it being their "signature" sandwhich, it kind of fell flat on its face. Give me Bay Cities Deli every day over this.

The Coral Tree Cafe
Today I decided to eat lunch at the Coral Tree Cafe at the Century City Food Court. I've only eaten here a few times and thought it was rather overpriced....I still hold that opinion after my quick lunch.

Roscoe's holds a special place in my heart. My first night in college, my roomates and a bunch of other people ended up here at 3am in the morning. It was the first place I really went out in LA as a college student and I was there in the restaurant, being frisked by Nation of Islam security and a metal detector to go into a restaurant. It was pretty crazy.
From the suburbs of Portland, Oregon to Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles in one day. Culture shock was an understatement.
Manhattan Beach, CA on a Sunday Night.
I love Manhattan Beach. Its on of the few places in LA where its always tolerable. Low traffic, great people and friendly vibe.

All you can eat menu. For $50 bucks, you get all-you-can eat and drink and a T-shirt PLUS seats! Not a bad deal.
